Background

David has 20+ years of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) along with analytics experience. His expertise is mainly focused on ML strategy initiation, large-scale ML/AI solution development, building and developing high-performance data science and analytics teams, and providing analytic consulting services to drive business growth. Currently, David is the Sr. Director of Global Data Science and Analytics at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP). He leads a team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to develop ML and optimization solutions at an enterprise level, supporting multiple business units (i.e., supply chain, manufacturing, direct store delivery operation, and commercial). David has held several leadership roles in data science and analytics area across multiple industries, including financial services, retail, and health care. In his most recent role at CVS Health, he led teams to initiate, build, and grow two consumer personalization platforms/engines (pharmacy and front-store business units) by deploying many innovative ML/AL-based optimization solutions, which generated over $100M+ incremental gain to the business. Trained as a computer scientist, David earned his Ph.D. with a research concentration in artificial intelligence and image pattern recognition from Boston University.
